Wenger extruders (twin screw and single screw) are supported by stainless steel, hygenic frames for improved food safety and ease of cleaning. Using many decades of experience, Wenger engineers identified the places on a frame where material is likely to accumulate, and then developed a design to reduce or eliminate those areas - while still providing proper support for the extruder system. The result is one of the most sanitary frames on the market.
